LMC Mooring Systems

LMC is one of the world’s leading external turret designers and specializes in the design and provision of mooring systems for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO), Floating Storage Regasifiction Unit (FSRU) and Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) units including external, internal and disconnectable turrets as well as spread mooring systems. LMC is an established mooring system operator with 7 units currently operational and 3 additional units entering service over the next two years.

LMC maintains a technical staff of 50 engineers, including structural, mechanical and piping engineers plus personnel in the marine and naval architecture disciplines. With such broad analytical and practical experience, LMC provides extensive consulting services including riser conceptual design, Mid Water Arches (MWA) design, field development studies, pile design, fabrication supervision and procurement assistance for large projects.
