EMAS AMC is one of the world’s most experienced offshore decommissioning contractors, relying on self-patented technologies and techniques to remove and transport
redundant structures to shore for dismantlement. EMAS AMC holds a proud record of World Firsts, including the successful refloat and tow of a Gravity Based Structure (Phillips Maureen) and the removal, float and tow of a 16,000 ton steel jacket from the Frigg Field to an onshore facility in Norway.

Offshore removal operations are complex and often times more challenging than the original installation itself. The condition of the platform, its residual strength and actual weight must all be assessed and taken into consideration as part of the decommissioning requirements.
